Elképzelésem több irányban indult el. Eleinte hatással volt rám Mondik Noémi paintművészete. Humorosnak találtam a fényképszerű ábrázolását, egyszerre realista és néhol elég szürreális alkotásait. “Témáiban a humoros pesti életet veszi alapul, amivel nap mint nap mi is találkozhatunk. A gifekben és PNG fájlokban viszont szembejön a nézővel a valóság, jobban mondva annak átszínezett, meseszerűen, vadregényes verziója.” Alkotásai által jutottam arra az ötletre, hogy fényképeket vektorizálok. Szerettem volna a hétköznapi fotókat grafikusan ábrázolni. A képeim egy témára épültek. A közösségi oldalon követem az Adventurous Kate oldalát. Kate egy fiatal lány aki otthagyta a munkáját és beutazza a világot. Szponzorokat szerezve maga köré, hivatásos utazóvá vált. Ahol éppen jár, képeket tölt fel, megosztja az interneten. Utazása által bejárt helyeket ábrázolom, vektorizálva, képeslapszerűen kiegészítve sajátos elképzeléseimmel. Elkészítés során, odafigyeltem a képek színvilágára, az adott hely sajátosságaira, leegyszerűsített formák megragadására. „Képeslapjaim”, hogy érvényesüljenek a mai modern világban, egy applikáció részesei lettek. Lényege egy vektoros utazás álomhelyekre, meseszerű ábrázolással, amely grafikai élménnyel szolgál az idelátogatóknak. Lépései: -válaszd ki a kívánt képet az általam már megrajzoltak, vagy a meglévő google tárházából -lőj egy selfie-t -Jelöld ki magad, ezt követően tedd a kívánt háttérre -a szükséges retusálások lehetősége is adott (fehérítés, színhőmérséklet állítása, stb…) -az elkészült képet pedig pillanatok alatt oszthatod meg ismerőseiddel, kedvenc közösségi oldalaidon

The name „Dotspot” refers to a vector graphic design technique which uses points to represent images. Initially the art of Noémi Mondik inspired me greatly, as I found her „photolike”representations interesting, since they are realistic and sometimes surrealistic at the same time. Her works are based on the amusing lifestyle of the inhabitants of Budapest, which we can experience every day.However, in the GIFs and PNG files, the spectator can discover reality, or at least its discoloured fabulous version. The works of Noémi inspired me to vectorise my photos. My intention was to portray usual photos in a graphical form. My pictures have been built around the same subject: I followed a page on Facebook called Adventurous Kate. Kate is a young girl who leaves her work in order to travel the world. She became an official traveller by finding sponsors who supported her aims.Wherever she goes, she takes photos and shares them on the internet. I illustrated the places of her journey in a form of postcards, in a vectorized version complemented with my individual imagination. While drawing I focused on the colours of the pictures, on the characteristics of each place and on simplifying the scenes without losing important detail. In order to make my „postcards” more visible and accessible in our modern world, I converted them into an application. Therefore, visitors can take part in a”vector graphic journey” in the direction of fabulous places through which hopefully they are going to have a unique graphical experience. Steps to follow: -Choose a picture from the unique vector graphic images, or from Google Images -Shoot a selfie -Select your outlines, then put it into the template you like the most -If needed you can retouch in this phase (whiting, the depth of colours, etc.) -The completed picture can be shared immediately with your friends on your favourite social networks
