Festményeim témájául a neonfényben úszó benzinkutak sajátos világát választottam. A sorozatot a tájkép Ma témára építettem fel. A hagyományos tájképfestészet mára szinte teljesen eltűnt, a táj látképe is megváltozott. Mai tájként értelmeztem a benzinkutakat, melyek a mindennapi életünk fontos részei. Ezek a kutak szinte már a táj szerves egységét képzik, a legelhagyatottabb környéken is megtalálhatóak. Szinte már észre sem vesszük, hogy ott vannak. Ezek a magányosan álló építmények párhuzamba hozhatóak az alföldi gémeskutakkal, így ez magyar tájként is felfogható. Ezeket emberek nélkül, néptelen terekként ábrázoltam. Ezzel fokozva a kiüresedettség és az elmagányosodás érzetét. Fotók alapján dolgoztam, nem másolva, hanem saját elképzeléseim szerint átríva azokat. A festmények vegyes technikával készültek, a lazúros felületeket és a felhígított lecsurgó festéket homogén foltokkal alkalmaztam, ezzel egyfajta ritmust létrehozva.

The topic that called my attention is the unique world of neonlightened gas stations. The series of work was constructed to the topic called 'Environment Today'. As the traditional landscape painting is almost gone these days, I interpreted them as important parts of our lives. These stations make up the unity of landscapes, they can be found at the most abandoned places so we can not even recognise them being there. I think these lonely buildings are parallel to the plain ones. There is no figurative images so as to heighten emptiness, and lonliness. Working was based on photos, I adapted them pursuing my ideas, and not copying in a realistic way. I mixed techniques like stain and oil to compose a kind of rhythm from the match of the dripping areas with the homogeneus patches.
