A művészeti érték szempontjából az „üresség” a semmi definíciója. Nincs mélysége, súlya, nem akar közölni, legfeljebb pont annyit, amennyire az adott testrész nehezedhetett rá a scanner üvegére – azonban amint átemeljük a vászonra, eltűnik ez a „nyomás” is. Csak a látvány marad meg, alulról megközelítve, de teret nem foglal magába: nem több pár bőrszínfoltnál, kékes pászmánál vagy nagyobb tömegű hajnál. A lényeg számomra egyfajta önreflexió volt, visszajutni a gyökerekhez, ahhoz a ponthoz, ahol nem a végtermék számít, ahol nincsenek elvárások; a főszerep az odáig vezető folyamat visszacsatolásaié lesz.

From the point of view of artistic value “emptiness” is the definition of nothing. It has no depth, no weight; it does not want to say anything, at most just as much as the weight of a given part of the body on the glass of the scanner – however, when we put it onto the canvas, this “pressure” disappears as well. It is only the sight that remains approaching it from below but it does not involve any space: it is not more than a few skin colour marks, blueish lea or a greater amount of hair. The main point was a kind of self-reflexion for me, to get back to the roots, to the point where the end product is not important, where there are no expectations; the main role will be played by the feedbacks of the process leading there.
