Az utóbbi két és fél évben vályogszobrokat építettem. Legújabb munkáimban a belülről kifelé növekedő formafejlődés és a visszasebző eróziós erők kölcsönhatásai szülik meg a plasztikát. Régóta foglalkoztat a felület és a mögötte rejtőző tartalom közötti feszültség eleven, anyagszerű megfogalmazása, az a probléma, hogy személyiségünk rétegeinek lehántásával vajon csak újabb felületeket találunk-e, vagy valamiféle esszenciális mag is létezik. A vályogban mint matériában érzem azt a szimbolikus erőt, amellyel megközelíthetőbbé válnak számomra ezek a kérdések.

I have created sculptures made of adobe in the last two and half years. In my latest pieces of art the sculpture is created from the form development growing from the inside to the outside and the mutual effects of the reinjuring forces of erosion. I have been long concerned with the lively material-like representation of the tension between the surface and the underlying meaning, the problem of whether by revealing the layers of our personality we can find only newer surfaces, or there exists some kind of an essential core as well. I feel the symbolic force in the adobe as a material which makes these questions more approachable for me.
