A New Generation animációs film egy professzor napját mutatja be, ahogyan nap mint nap próbál olyan robotokat készíteni, amelyek saját tudattal rendelkeznek. A film során beleláthatunk, hogyan készülnek a robotok, és miként végzi elszántan napi feladatát az alkotó. A sok kutatás után megtalálja a megoldást az öntudatra ébresztésre, és egyik robotjába megpróbálja ezt beletáplálni. Miközben azonban alkotása öntudatra ébredhetne, egy véletlen áramszünet miatt sikertelen lesz a folyamat. A robot ezt követően mégis életre kel és lecsatlakoztatja magát a műszerekről, majd elindul a labor folyosóin, keresve alkotóját. Megtalálja a professzort, de ahelyett, hogy üdvözölné, egészen más fordulatot vesz a történet.

The New Generation animated film shows the day of a professor, as he day by day tries making robots with their own consciousness. We can have an insight to the manufacturing of the robots and the way the creator performs his daily task with great determination. After a lot of research, he finds the solution to create consciousness and programs it into one of his robots. However, the process fails because of an unexpected power failure. The robot comes to life nevertheless and disconnects itself from the instruments. Then it starts walking on the corridors of the lab, searching for its creator. It finds the professor, but instead of greeting him, the story takes a completely different turn.
