Képzőművészeti utam során elképzelhetetlennek tartottam, hogy valaha megfosszam magam a vibráló, édes színek ködjétől. Pedig csak én nem láttam a fától az erdőt. A technikásan megoldott látványabsztrahálások annyira kiszúrták a szememet, hogy észre sem vettem a finomságokat. Az anyagban rejlő erő csak csöndesen szól. Ez a suttogás nem hivalkodik; azok számára, akik meg akarják hallgatni, nem válik unalmassá fecsegése. ’Kötött beton’ című munkám a legkedvesebb számomra. A beton fogalmához olyan konvenciók társulnak, mint az erő és a stabilitás. Holott ha valaki igazán foglalkozik vele, akkor tudja, de biztosan, hogy valójában egy nagyon törékeny anyagról van szó. Csak az tartja meg, ha kötődhet valamihez.  És ha az olyan valami, ami épp foszladozik és eltűnőben van, azt is megőrzi és ezáltal maga is megőrződik.

In the course of my journey through the world of fine art, I have always considered it unthinkable to ever deprive myself of the haze of vibrant, sweet colours that exist. Yet all too often I did not see the wood for the trees. The technically resolved abstractions of the scenery clouded my vision, so that I could not notice the subtleties. Power inherent in the material speaks only quietly. This whispering does not show off; nor does it bore the listener. Of all my works, 'Knitted concrete' is the dearest to me. There are conventional features associated with concrete such as strength and stability. Yet those who actually work with it know that it is in fact a very fragile material. It can only cohere if it can hold on to something. And if it is something that is decaying and about to disappear, the concrete preserves it while it is being preserved, too.
