Diplomamunkám létrehozásánál elsődlegesen a harmóniára törekedtem, absztrahált módon, színek és formák segítségével. Eddigi munkáimban a figuralitásnak fontos szerepe volt, félreérthetetlen történeteket meséltem el velük, olyan elemeket, tárgyakat ábrázoltam, amelyeket szigorúan a látvány elve szerint, direkt módon tudunk értelmezni. A munkafolyamat során szerettem volna ettől a jellemzően figurális ábrázolástól eljutni egy letisztultabb formavilágig. Kiindulópontnak egy fogalmat használtam, erre építettem a munkám képi világát. A fogalmat addig próbáltam folyamatosan átdolgozni, torzítani, amíg elértem addig a pontig, ahol már nem beszélhetünk tárgyilagosságról, de esetlegesen jelképezheti az adott témát. A fogalom, amiből kiindultam: „od, (1), távol hely, távolság: oda = ama távol helyre. Gyökeleme távolt jelentő o. Ellenkezője: id, ide, ezen közelebbi helyre.” (Czuczuor Gergely - Fogarasi János: A magyar nyelv szótára, 1862.)

When I started my diploma work, I primarily sought harmony in an abstract way, with the help of colors and shapes. In my work figuration has played an important role, I was telling unambiguous stories, I portrayed elements and objects that could be interpreted directly, strictly according to the realistic approach. During the working process, I wanted to get to a more reduced and squared down visual world from this typically figurative representation. I used a concept as the starting point, and I built the visual world of my work on it. I tried to continually reconsider and distort the concept until I reached the point where we can no longer talk about objectivity, but it may represent the subject. The concept from which I started is rooted in Hungarian etimology: “od, (1), distant place, distance: oda [there]= to that distant place. Its root is the “o”, standing for distance.
