A diplomamunkám egy tíz fejezetből álló könyv saját írásaimmal és illusztrációimmal, amelyek a napjainkban előforduló generációs szakadékokból fakadó negatív viselkedéseket reprezentálják vicces és groteszk formában. Saját tapasztalataimat dolgozom fel a történetekben. A témaválasztás szinte egyértelmű volt számomra: olyan jelenségeket akartam megragadni, amelyekkel nap mint nap találkozik az ember, s gyakorta bosszankodik rajtuk. Miután jobban beleástam magam a témába, szembesültem az aggizmus és az adultizmus problémáival. Konkrét karakterekbe ültettem át azokat az idegesítő viselkedésformákat, amelyek mindenki agyára mennek. A 10 fejezetből álló könyvben tíz olyan szituációt mesélek el, amelyek velem is megtörténtek. De az életnek nem csupán a rossz oldalát szeretném megjeleníteni. Zárásként bemutatom a szent és sérthetetlen, jóságos nagymamákat, valamint a jófej nagypapákat – így állítom kontrasztba a negatív és pozitív viselkedésmintákat. Célközönségem a fiatalabb korosztály, ezen belül is a 15 és 30 év közöttiek.

My diploma work is a book of 10 chapters with my own writings and illustrations that represent in a funny and grotesque form the negative examples of behaviour that can be experienced these days arising from the generational gaps. I present my own experiences in the stories. The choice of the theme selection was almost self-contained for me: I wanted to capture phenomena that we meet every day and we often find annoying. After having done more reserach on the subject, I faced the problems of ageism and adultism. I have transposed those annoying behaviour patterns that get on everybody’s nerves into the concrete characters that play a role in my project. In the ten chapters of the book I introduce ten situations that have happened to me, too. But I do not only want to show the wrong side of life. As a closure, I present sacred and innocent, good grandmoms and cool grandads - so I contrast the negative and positive behavioral patterns. My target audience is the younger age group, especially those between 15 and 30.
