A fa természete példamutató: amilyen mélyen vannak gyökerei a földben, olyan magasra nyúlnak ágai az ég irányába, növekedve a fény felé. Hamvas Béla azt írja a fákról, hogy kettős természetük van, mert megtalálható bennük a nő és a férfi ölelésben való egyesülése. Szobrom ennek az ellenkezőjét fejezi ki: a nő és férfi épp az elkülönülés állapotában vannak. Az alulról fölfelé, a fakockákból átforgácsolódó, fűrészporos gipszbe alakuló anyagok használata által kifejezőbbé válik a szétválás feszültsége és az új egység létrejötte.

My sculpture expresses the exact opposite: the woman and the man are in the state of separation. By using the materials slivered through wooden cubes from the bottom to the top and converted into plaster with sawdust, he tension of the separation and the formation of the new unity become more expressive.
