Opposition

There is a thought that keeps coming back to me about how our belongings often overgrow us. My intention with this series was to differentiate between useful and useless objects, to find the sacred meaning hidden within them.The idea of accumulation and waste also appears in the work. The concrete materiality of the object. However, in comparison to the content symbolised by the item there are recalled memories. The object itself disappeared, leaving some sharp and some delicate traces behind. Only the silhouette of the object remains where its body obstructed the path of light.
