Twist

One day an old, lonely man is swimming in a lake where he gets into a huge storm. His life is changed by a dog, who is also lonely. The dog hears that the elderly man is in trouble, goes up to him to help, and thus saves him. A close connection develops between them, but one day the man finds a picture of his dog on a poster and an advertisement in the newspaper. What is the right decision?  To give back his new friend and sink back into loneliness again? Or to keep it and live with the knowledge that the previous owner is sad and lonely because of his decision.
