Minimalizing the Movie Background

Thesis

In my thesis, I analyse films whose action takes place only in one location, and in which the motif of closeness is central. At the beginning of my thesis I study closed situational films in general. I mention a few classics of the genre, and I characterise these films in which entrapment and tight space play an important role. The order of the films is structured according to the size of the space it portrays.
