Analysis of the Representation of the Paradox of Time in Fiction Films

Thesis

In my thesis I analyse dialogues, conflicts, misunderstandings and situational comedies typically appearing in comedies. What are the main internal qualities and physical characteristics of a person to become entertaining for the audience? The films I analysed were István Székely: Hyppolit, the butler (1931), Géza Cziffra: Mansion for Sale  (1935), Béla Gaál: Confectionery in Buda (1935), and Ladislao Vajda: Borrowed Mansion (1937).
