Filmünk Alexről (16) szól, aki a serdülőkorban elveszíti az apai figurát. Édesapja depressziós lett, így édesanyjára és rá hárulnak a mindennapi feladatok. Megpróbálja apjával helyreállítani a kapcsolatukat. A polc ezt a történetet szimbolizálja. Alkotótársammal közös pont, hogy hasonló dolgokat éltünk meg. Kettőnk közös tapasztalatai alapján írtuk a forgatókönyvet. A film elkészítése egy kiemelkedően gazdag szakmai, értelmi és érzelmi tanulási folyamat volt, amely alatt rengeteget fejlődtünk.

The film tells the story of Alex a 16 year old boy whose father is paralyzed by depression. Because of this all of the everyday tasks falls onto Alex and his mother. Alex attempts to help his father get better and to save their relation. The shelf is the symbol of this process. Both me and my co-creator have had similar experiences which we based the screenplay on. The process of creating this movie was a great emotional, personal and learning experience for both of us.
