Basement No. 1–3

Mostly I am interested in building facades or the interiors behind them. Because of the integration of the place, the lapse of the time is imperceptible, the sign of the permanent destruction is the only thing that alludes to it. I am interested in the darkness and the void caused by that. The invisible space is not perceptible, hence carries the feelings of absence and insecurity. With the gesture of masking I create unknown situations. The basement can be an unknown area or even the area of remembrance, a transcendental place, wherefrom only fragments of memories can reach the surface.
