My diploma project is a collection of aphorisms consisting of the last lines from films. When we question or lose our self-image and identity, we often seek new patterns and content to replace the old ones. Our life space shifts from the real world to the created world. The empty self-image is reconstructed from a set of patternless contents. In this false reality, we can experience everything, but it lacks value. While watching a film, we exist in this reality, and as soon as the film ends, its reality merges with our own. My publication includes images generated by artificial intelligence, along with the final sentences of the films. These images represent a devalued, false world that continuously sustains itself by mimicking external influences without possessing original thoughts. I combine this visual representation with my own, showcasing an ambivalent and changeable self-image on the brink of losing its personality.
