Echoes of the Transient is an independent three-dimensional platformer adventure game. The story is about an inventor boy named Kairos. Into his life, a girl comes along who colors his colorless life, but Ellie dies unexpectedly a few weeks later. Unable to bear being dragged back into his monochrome life, the boy decides to travel back in time to prevent Ellie's death. However, the time machine does not take him back in time, but instead propels him forward in the dimensions where robots have enslaved humanity. In the new world Kairos goes through various adventures in an attempt to free humanity and find Ellie.
