Animated short film using mixed media. Frame-by-frame digital animation on hand-painted watercolor backgrounds.
Alice and her family move from the city to a small town due to a job change. Trying to shut herself off from the new environment, she goes on an exploratory trip and wanders into a nearby forest. Frustrated, she takes it out on her surroundings, not noticing as the clearing fills with guardian creatures and spirits. These fantastic beings take Alice on a brief adventure, unveiling the world before her eyes. The journey, like a dream, quickly fades, but its memory stays with her forever.
