It is meant to create a comforting and nostalgic environment with the use of calming sounds and understanding characters. Your journey takes place in a world made of wooden toy blocks, which emphasizes the nostalgic and childlike feeling. In therapy, often the aim is to help heal your inner child. Therefore, I believed a fantasy and child-like style would be appropriate for a game like this. Throughout this game, the player experiences troubling and anxious thoughts while going on a hike in the forest. As the story progresses, they encounter numerous wooden creatures who offer simple advice to help them overcome these obstacles and make things easier.
