The aim of my project is to examine the practical application of video games for educational purposes, with a particular focus on the accessible presentation of cultural values. As part of this, I developed an educational video game that interactively introduces users to Hungarian poster art and graphic design created between the two world wars. Players can discover the work of influential artists of the period, such as Sándor Bortnyik, Lajos Kassák, and Róbert Berény and learn about the visual language and cultural context of their works. The game is thematically based on the stylistic trends of the period, such as constructivism, Bauhaus, and modernist graphic design. The aim is to provide players with not only an aesthetic experience, but also an insight into the social, political, and economic background. Interactive learning thus contributes in a complex way to understanding the connections between visual culture and history.
